Conditions that cannot be effectively managed by your family veterinarian alone will often receive a consult or be referred to an internal medicine specialist to receive a second opinion or to pursue more advanced care options.

Stem cell therapy is a regenerative medicine technique that uses multipotent stem cells to repair and regenerate tissues such as tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and bone. Stem cells are collected from a pet's abdominal fat and processed to concentrate the cells.
